"We have a great Local Land Charges Team at Torridge who work extremely hard to deliver a professional and efficient service to all of our customers.

To win a national customer satisfaction award is a fantastic achievement. The recognition of our efforts and commitment to the service that we deliver is a great reward. We are very proud of this success and will endeavour to maintain and further improve our service and standards. I would like to thank everyone who voted for us."

Phil Pennington, Leader Member for legal services said:

The Customer Satisfaction for Personal Searches Award was created to focus on the level of service that Local Land Charges Departments offer to its personal searches customers and to determine the level of satisfaction with the service they receive.

Alex Fraser, Chief Executive of C-NLIS said: "All of our Awards winners were of a consistently high standard. Their hard work and dedication to quality is an inspiration to Local Land Charges Departments across the country."

The winner and finalists were chosen based on the number of votes that C-NLIS received on their behalf.
