Plans Committee meetings are held monthly to consider applications which have been called to committee by your Local Councillor, by a member of the committee, or where the Council's Scheme of Delegation requires it to be considered at Committee.

Plans Committee Meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of every month. The location of the meeting is at Bideford Town Hall, Bridge Street, Bideford, EX39 2HS at 9.30am. The date and time of Committee Meetings will be published 5 working days in advance of the meeting in the Committee Agenda - please use the link below to view these:

Public participation (request to speak at plans committee)
If you would like to request to speak, please complete the online form, alternatively you can email directly to speak.planning@torridge.gov.uk. All submissions must be received by 2pm on the Tuesday before the committee meeting is due to be held.
Following receipt of these requests a list of those people requesting to speak will be displayed here after 2pm on the Tuesday before the Thursday committee date. Where Plans Committee is held on a Friday the Speakers will be displayed here after 2pm on the Wednesday before the committee.
