An Eggstravaganza of free Easter events on the Northam Burrows!

Looking for something different to do over the Easter holidays?  Why don't you get outside and enjoy the beautiful Northam Burrows with our enthusiastic team of rangers.  With a wide range of activities, there is something for all the family to enjoy!

• Events kick-off with an "Eggstravaganza" on Tuesday 2 April. Drop in at the visitor centre between 11am and 4pm for an egg themed quiz and trail.  There will also be the chance to make your own egg shaped suncatcher to take home.

• Meet our rangers at the visitor centre at 2pm on Thursday 4 April, to take part in "Tracks and Signs" - a family friendly guided walk exploring the habitats of Northam Burrows looking for signs of wildlife that call this beautiful place home.

• On Tuesday 9 April at 11.30, meet at the visitor centre to find out more about "The Mossy Carpet" - with a 'Be More Moss' easy guided walk.  From 1-4pm there will be crafting workshops with moss inspired poms poms and more.  There will also be more mossy making crafts available at the visitor centre where you can pop in to do your own thing between 10pm and 5pm on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 April.

• Thursday 11 April, find the rangers on the beach near Westward Ho! Slipway between 2pm and 4pm for a "Rockpool Ramble" and discover the strange and wonderful creatures that lurk in the rockpools at low tide.

No booking is required for any of the organised events but children must be accompanied by an adult and appropriate clothing and footwear is advised. If you're like Torridge's hungry rangers some snacks and drinks may also be a good idea.
