£2.45m Dry Recycling Contract Awarded to South Molton Recycle

Torridge District Council has awarded a £2.45m contract to manage the district's kerbside dry recycling collections for the next seven years to South Molton Recycle Limited. The new contract will mean an annual saving for the council and local council tax payers of £280,000, and will begin on July 1st.

Torridge Harnesses Sun Power

A project aiming to save up to £3000 a year on electricity bills has been completed at Torridge District Council's Riverbank House offices. Fifty-seven solar panels have been installed on the roof of the riverside building to help power the offices for years to come.

Parking Roadshows Coming to Town!

Following on from last year's successful events, Torridge District Council's Parking Services team is planning to hold a number of Parking Roadshows throughout the district in June.

Vacancies on Standards Committee

Torridge District Council is looking for two independent, fair minded people who are willing to become involved when a complaint is received about the conduct of a District or Parish/Town Councillor.
