Self Isolation Grants For Businesses 2021

As a result of increased incidents of self-isolation to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, some businesses have been forced to offer a reduced service or even close for a period of up to 10 days.

We are pleased to confirm that we are now able to consider grant applications from businesses that have either had to close or were obliged to offer a reduced service as a result of employees receiving notifications to self-isolate from NHS Test and Trace. Self-employed people who have received a notification to self-isolate from NHS Test and Trace can also apply, but not if they are eligible for the Government Test and Trace payment.  Grant awards are discretionary and will be calculated on an individual basis, with payment amounts to be between £250 and £8,000.

The following are eligible to apply for a self-isolation grant:

· Self-employed people instructed to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace and not eligible for the Test and Trace Support payment and not exempt from self-isolating

· Business owners with employees instructed to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace and not exempt from self-isolating
