Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Taxi Plates
Torridge District Council currently restricts the number of hackney carriage plates it issues. Two plates have been returned to the Council and are available for use. The plates are restricted for wheelchair accessible vehicles only. Interested parties will need to apply by completing and returning an application form.
The vehicle must comply with vehicle specification and conditions of licence for taxis as detailed in Appendix A of the Council's Licensing Policy.
The following additional conditions will also apply to the successful applicant:
- The vehicle must meet Euro 6 emission standards.
