Abis Belfast sailed last night

mv Abis Belfast sailed last night, swinging off the berth at the Middle Yard Appledore with sections for the aircarfy carrier project at ROSYTH. Pilot Paul Gyurgyak reported no problems as the vessel swung about half an hour before high water soon after she floated on the sluggish flood tide (which cut in height). Andrew lynch from Henry Abrams and Co the agent and logistics company said that the loading went very swiftly, and finished on svhedule. Appledore shipyard personnel have done a good and timely job and are focussing on the next shipments including the large barge which takes away the second bulbous bow for ROSYTH in early March.
