Log ship for Yelland - Oldenburg passenger numbers good. Second Appledore Ferry.

mv BALTIYSKIY 201 is due for YELLAND for the 8th - 10th May next. She is presently on her way to ROCHEFORT in the Bay of Biscay.

She will load logs for WISMAR in Germany.

The Lundy Ferry ms OLDENBURG has had some quite good passenger loads with over 150 passengers on a special 0800hrs  trip to the island last Sunday (Open Day) and around a hundred and twenty passengers today from Bideford. The ship's manager Mr Jack Bater says that staying visitors to the Island are consistently good in recent times.

The second Appledore to Instow ferry will start operation during this week, after having some changes made to her equipment. She is at present at the North Devon Yacht Club and will be launched on Wednesday by Instow Marine.

Bideford's modern re handler crane after doing maintenance dredging of the berths last week and loading the ANTARES with clay, is having maintenance done on its grab (New bushes) ready for the next clay ship.
