Leonid Leonov sails

LEONID LEONOV sailed at 2045 hrs at twilight. with abt 2250 tonnes of logs 4.6m draught aft 4.2m ford. after a delay related to amount of cargo loaded this morning.

Her stabilty was good, with a slight starboard list. This was the earliest a loaded ship has sailed from Yelland Quay, and the currents were strong at half ahead (8 knots in still water) she was doing 3.5k over the ground near Crow point affecting steering and crabbing across the river towards Crow. (4,5k current).

She will sail to Gothenburg roads for bunkers before proceeding to Wismar or Lubeck to discharge her cargo.

The Captain and crew were very pleasant and efficient.
