The newbuild patrol vessel for the Irish Navy is due to be launched on Sunday afternoon at 1645hrs fom the Babcock APPLEDORE Shipyard. She will be towed to her fitting out berth at New Quay Appledore for finishing touches. Though she is in a remarkably advanced state of build, with even her ships boats onboard. A tug is on its way over from Milford Haven today and will be asisited by the Lundy Puffin shipyard work tug. A decision regarding the weather conditions will be made at the shipyard at 1000 hrs on Sunday morning. TDC Pilots are  involved with the movement.

Appledore Shipbuilders staff are very proud of this particular build as she is the first to be completed to full fit out at the yard for several years, the company having concentrated on hulls only and hull sections.

The mv ULRIKE G is on course to load at GLENSANDA near OBAN tonight and should arrive at YELLAND for the pm Sunday or am Monday tide to discharge her cargo of stone and stone dust o Monday for Notts contractors.
