mv PRIDE remains at anchor 1mile off the Irish coast. Steve Clarke.

mv Pride remains at anchor off DROGHEDA awaiting the weather to improve before resuming her passage towards YELLAND to discharge her stone cargo.

Similar sized ships remaining at sea and steaming south are making poor progress 2 knots or so, or even heaved to. Many ships have gone to shelter to await the passing of the storm.

The next available water for PRIDE to enter the TAW TORRIDGE estuary is Sunday the 29th December afternoon tide.

The late Steve Clarke's Kathleen and May

It is with great regret that I have to report the sudden death of Councillor Steve Clarke OBE who's funeral was held today attended by many people. A firework display was planned for after the wake at Instow.

One of Steve's legacy's was the magnificent KATHLEEN AND MAY which was renovated at great cost at his behest and is based at LIVERPOOL where she remains afloat in the Albert Dock with many visitors treading her decks.

He will be greatly missed by many local residents.
