mv CROWNBREEZE  has been discharging her cargo at AVONMOUTH since Tuesday morning, and will  complete on Friday for sailing on the pm tide and arrive at YELLAND ROADS ready for the Saturday am tide AGW.

A Ball Clay cargo has been fixed for loading at Bideford from the 7th June onwards. Also agents PIKE WARD report that another CASTELLON BALL CLAY cargo is expected during July for BIDEFORD.

Yachting activity on the estuary is on the increase wiith the good weather of late, with several local craft visiting CLOVELLY, LUNDY, PADSTOW, and further afield to TENBY.

A single handed junk rigged yacht has visited BIDEFORD for a few days, and the owner Mr Dennis Shepherd was joined by his wife Dawn from AXMOUTH where the yacht is based. They are slowly making their way around great Britain over the next year.
