Anne Dorte sails. Countess Anna due for Bideford Sunday. Welsh Piper due early Monday am.

mv ANNE DORTE sailed this evening from YELLAND at 1635 hrs bound for LUBECK in GERMANY. She had just over 2,000 tonnes of logs on board mostly below decks with a small amount of deck cargo. The cargo started on arrival yesterday, and completed at at 0430 hrs. No servicable logs were left ashore it was reported.

Her Russian Master anticipated a passage of under 4 days to LUBECK, via the KIEL canal.

Her draught was 5.05 metres aft and 4.9m ford. She had some 500 tonnes of ballast on board, with more to take when at sea.

The lady draught surveyor attended to calculate the cargo onboard. Conditions were calm, and clear.

The ship had just two watchkeeping Officers, but sometimes had three.

mv COUNTESS ANNA is now due at 1825 hrs at BIDEFORD on SUNDAY after discharging her cargo at CARDIFF from HOLLAND. She will load Ball Clay for Spain. Sailing the following Tuesday evening.

Also due is mv WELSH PIPER for YELLAND early on Monday morning with sand.
