mv HELAS is due at YELLAND with some 3100 tonnes of stone chipping's direct from the quarry at GLENSANDA in SCOTLAND UK the end user Notts Contractors at YELLAND.

She is scheduled to arrive for the am tide on Sunday (1017 hrs) or the subsequent pm tide at 2245hrs.

She will discharge on Monday and sail on Monday evening late for BIRDPORT near NEWPORT to load steel.

sv KATHLEEN and MAY had a successful visit to BIDEFORD, and her skipper John Pavitt says that she sailed up river with minimal use of her (new) engine. This photo was taken by Maureen Rice as she departed BIDEFORD QUAY>

Finally Babcock Appledore Shipbuilders have given a date for the launching of the next ship for the Irish Navy ready for fit out alongside the Middle Yard, as 23rd November (HW 1815hrs). She is designated as AS 195 and will be a sister to the previous build.
