mv FEHN MIRAGE has arrived at BIDEFORD QUAY 0625 hrs, after a short passage from AVONMOUTH.

Her 7 Russian and Ukranian crew will be in port until Wednesday evening, when they will sail at about 1800 hrs for CASTELLON in SPAIN.

The ship steered exceptionally well, and was berthed starboard side to. Water intake issues with the Pilot boat caused by large amounts of debris from upriver (wood and twigs) which was fixed by the onboard crew (John Pavitt coxswain engineer and Thom Flaxman) meant that swinging the ship after high water with rainwater adding to the ebb current was not practical.

Her arrival draught was 3.6 metres, she is 88.5 m length overall, and 11.4 m beam. and will load 2770 tonnes of Ball Clay, and sail with a draught of about 4.8 metres.
