You must ensure that you have completed the application form in full, answering every question (even if it doesn't apply to you), and that you send us all the original documents that we have asked for.

We will try to work out your benefit within 14 working days from the date of receipt of your claim. This is not always possible, especially if we need more information or documents from you, the Job Centre or the Pension Service. In these cases we will deal with your claim as quickly as possible once we have received all the information that we need.
