Plans Committee

Plans Committee meetings are held monthly to consider applications which have been called to committee by your Local Councillor, by a member of the committee, or where the Council's Scheme of Delegation requires it to be considered at Committee.

Plans Committees are typically held on the first Thursday of every month. The location of meeting is at the Town Hall in Bideford. The date and time of Committee Meetings will be published 5 working days in advance of the meeting in the Committee Agenda - please use the link below to view these:

Members of the public are encouraged to speak at Committee meetings. If you wish to speak at the next Plans Committee you can use the form below to apply. Please make sure that your request reaches us by 2pm two days before the committee. On the right hand side of the page there is a leaflet about speaking at Plans Committee. Please ensure you read it and agree to abide by the code of conduct. The leaflet also contains advice on what is appropriate to speak about at committee.
