Public Consultation Events - Have Your Say on Northam Burrows
Torridge District Council is asking local people what they think about its proposals for Northam Burrows and is holding public consultation events for members of the public to come and have a look, and talk about any issues they feel should be taken into account.
There are still three public consultation events left on proposals for the future of Northam Burrows.
A wide range of options has been set out and the council wants local residents and visitors to comment on the draft proposals.
The public events include a presentation on the proposals and an open feedback session where members of the public can ask questions and offer their thoughts on the different elements of the scheme. The three remaining events are scheduled for:
- 4 October – Appledore Blue Lights, Appledore – 6.15pm - 9pm
- 6 October – Kingsley Hall, Westward Ho! – 2.15 - 5pm
- 8 October – Town Hall, Bideford - 6pm – 9pm
This consultation will remain open until 26th October 2012 and all feedback is welcomed.
Have your say by visiting the council's website at: http://www.torridge.gov.uk/burrowssurvey or by collecting a paper copy from the council offices in either Bideford, Torrington or Holsworthy. They are also available from local libraries and from parish councils.
The responses to this survey will be collated and the results will form part of a report to Torridge District Council's Community and Resources Committee on 12th November 2012. This report will be published and made available to members of the public five working days before the meeting.
