Tour of Britain - Bideford Road Closure Information

The 6th Stage of the Tour of Britain is due to finish in Bideford on the Quay on 17th September. The stage from Frome to Bideford is the longest stage, and will go a long way in deciding who the winner of the Tour will be.

The race is due to finish between approximately 2.45pm and 3.30pm along the Quay in Bideford.  The Quay will be closed to vehicle access from 5.00am - 7.00pm on the day of the race (Thursday 17 September). 

There will also be other road restrictions in place in Bideford on the day of the race and parking within the town will be restricted.  (Please see road closure map.)

The Quay car park will be closed from 6pm on Wednesday 16 September and all day on Thursday 17 September. 

Alternative parking will be available and will be clearly signed on they day of the event.

Other road restrictions within the town will be clearly signed in advance of the event.
