Civil Enforcement
If you have made unsuccessful representations against a Penalty Charge Notice to the Council after receiving a 'Notice to Owner' you may appeal to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal.
If Penalty Charge Notices remain unchallenged and unpaid the debt will eventually be registered at the Traffic Enforcement Centre.
If you have not paid a Penalty Charge Notice and a warrant has been issued to recover the debt you will need to respond to the bailiff company that has contacted you directly.
The Citizens Advice Bureau can provide independent advice on civil enforcement and debt.
