Emergency Repairs Grant

This grant is aimed at helping homeowner occupiers in receipt of certain benefits to carry out minor emergency repairs to their homes

Stair Lift

The type of emergency repair, which can be considered for this grant is mainly stair-lift repair, however if you feel that you may be put in immediate danger by the disrepair to your home, please contact the Housing Renewal Team to discuss your needs further.

The maximum amount of grant available is £500.00.

To qualify, you must be in receipt of one or more of the following benefits;

  • Pension Credit (guaranteed)
  • Income Support
  • Income based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Working and or Child Tax Credit (which must include the Disability Element)
