Planned ships. Yelland , Bideford & Appledore.

Whilst no ships are imminent, it is likely that a log ship will come to YELLAND QUAY at the end of February to load logs for Northern Germany. The ship could be a SORMOVSKIY type as before received at the port.

Also another ship is due to visit BIDEFORD QUAY in March to load Ball Clay for CASTELLON.

Notts contractors may well order a stone ship from GLENSANDA over the next couple of months, and there is a likeyhood of a sand dredger with sand from the Bristol Channel.

Appledore has the newly built le JAMES JOYCE for trials on the 17th February when she will sail to sea at 0300 hrs.

A tug and barge will arrive on the 24th March to collect large sections for the second aircraft carrier project in ROSYTH.
