Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)

The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out how the Council will involve the community and other stakeholders in the preparation and revision of Local Development Documents (including the Local Plan), neighbourhood plans and in decision making on planning applications.

A revised SCI, prepared in partnership with North Devon was adopted on 15^th July 2022:

The draft SCI was published for consultation over a six week period from 17^th March to 29^th April 2022.
