Local Authorities and Outreach teams in Devon and Cornwall are working in partnership towards reducing rough sleeping.

No Second Night Out

The Council works towards the No Second Night Out standard whenever possible.

We can provide practical help including:

  • Information and advice about support services
  • Assistance with linking in with health services
  • Help into emergency accommodation
  • Money and benefit advice
  • Help to obtain suitable long-term accommodation

Severe Weather Provision

During periods of severe cold weather, we ensure there is a service in place for rough sleepers and can provide safe shelter. This provides an opportunity for engaging with entrenched rough sleepers and hard-to-reach groups.
